And this is the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments that יהוה your Elohim commanded to teach you, to do in the land where you are crossing over to possess it.

So that you may fear יהוה your Elohim, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I am commanding you, you and your son and your son's son, all the days of your life, and so that your days may be lengthened.

And you shall hear, Yisra'el, and you shall keep to do, that it may be good for you, and that you may multiply greatly, as יהוה Elohim of your fathers spoke to you, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Hear, Yisra'el: יהוה our Elohim, יהוה is one.

And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

And these words which I am commanding you today shall be on your heart.

And you shall impress them upon your sons, and you shall speak of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk on the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

And it shall be, when יהוה your Elohim brings you into the land which He swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitsḥaq, and to Ya'aqov, to give you great and good cities which you did not build,

And houses full of all good things which you did not fill, and cisterns dug out which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant, and you eat and are satisfied.

Be careful lest you forget יהוה who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of slaves.

You shall fear יהוה your Elohim, and Him you shall serve, and by His name you shall swear.

You shall not go after other elohim, from the elohim of the peoples who are around you.

For יהוה your Elohim is a jealous el in your midst; lest the anger of יהוה your Elohim burn against you, and He destroy you from the face of the ground.

You shall not test יהוה your Elohim, as you tested Him at Massah.

You shall surely keep the commandments of יהוה your Elohim, and His testimonies, and His statutes which He commanded you.

And you shall do what is right and good in the eyes of יהוה, so that it may be good for you, and you may come and possess the good land which יהוה swore to your fathers,

To drive out all your enemies from before you, as יהוה spoke.

When your son asks you tomorrow, saying, 'What are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments which יהוה our Elohim commanded you?'

Then you shall say to your son, 'We were slaves to Par'oh in Mitsrayim, and יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand.

And יהוה performed great and terrible signs and wonders in Mitsrayim, against Par'oh and against all his house, before our eyes.

And He brought us out from there, so that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He swore to our fathers.

And יהוה commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear יהוה our Elohim, for our good all the days, to keep us alive, as this day.

And righteousness shall be ours, if we carefully keep to do all this commandment before יהוה our Elohim, as He commanded us.
