And now, Yisra'el, listen to the statutes and the judgments that I am teaching you to do, so that you may live and go in and inherit the land that יהוה, the Elohim of your fathers, is giving you.

You shall not add to the word that I am commanding you, and you shall not subtract from it, to keep the commands of יהוה your Elohim that I am commanding you.

Your eyes are the ones seeing what יהוה did at Ba'al-Pe'or, because everyone who went after Ba'al-Pe'or, יהוה your Elohim destroyed him from among you.

But you, the ones clinging to יהוה your Elohim, are all alive today.

Look, I am teaching you statutes and judgments, just as יהוה my Elohim commanded me to do, so in the midst of the land you are going in to inherit it.

So you shall keep and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the eyes of the peoples, who will hear all these statutes and say, 'Surely, this great nation is a wise and understanding people.'

For what great nation is there that has Elohim near to it, like יהוה our Elohim, in all our calling to Him?

And what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments that are righteous, like all this law that I am putting before you today?

Only, be on guard for yourself, and guard your soul greatly, lest you forget the words that your eyes saw, and lest they turn from your heart all the days of your life. And you shall make them known to your sons and to your sons' sons.

The day you stood before יהוה your Elohim at Horev, when יהוה said to me, 'Gather the people to me, and I will make them hear my words, which they will learn to fear me all the days they are alive on the ground, and they will teach their sons.'

And you drew near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain was burning with fire to the heart of the heavens, darkness, cloud, and thick gloom.

And יהוה spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you were hearing a voice of words, but you were not seeing a form, only a voice.

And He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to do, the Ten Words, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.

And יהוה commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, so that you may do them in the land you are crossing over to inherit.

So you shall be very watchful over your souls, for you did not see any form on the day יהוה spoke to you at Horev from the midst of the fire.

Lest you corrupt yourselves and make for yourselves a graven image, a form of any likeness, a male or female form.

A form of any animal that is on the ground, a form of any bird of wing that flies in the heavens.

A form of any creeping thing on the ground, a form of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth.

And lest you lift your eyes to the heavens and see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, all the host of the heavens, and you are led astray and bow down to them and serve them, which יהוה your Elohim has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens.

But יהוה took you and brought you out of the iron furnace, from Mitsrayim, to be to Him a people of inheritance, as this day.

And יהוה was angry with me because of your words, and swore that I would not cross the Yarden, and would not go into the good land that יהוה your Elohim is giving you as an inheritance.

For I am dying in this land; I am not crossing the Yarden. But you are crossing and will inherit this good land.

So be on guard for yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of יהוה your Elohim, which He made with you, and make for yourselves a graven image, a form of anything that יהוה your Elohim has commanded you.

For יהוה your Elohim is a consuming fire; He is an zealous Elohim.

When you bear sons and sons' sons, and you grow old in the land, and you corrupt yourselves and make a graven image, a form of anything, and you do evil in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim to provoke Him.

I call the heavens and the earth to witness against you today, that you will surely perish quickly from the land you are crossing the Yarden to inherit. You will not prolong your days upon it, for you will surely be destroyed.

And יהוה will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where יהוה will drive you.

And there you will serve Elohim, the work of human hands, wood and stone, which do not see, and do not hear, and do not eat, and do not smell.

But from there you will seek יהוה your Elohim, and you will find Him, when you search for Him with all your heart and with all your soul.

In your distress, when all these things have found you, in the latter days, you will return to יהוה your Elohim and obey His voice.

For יהוה your Elohim is a compassionate Elohim; He will not abandon you, nor will He destroy you, nor will He forget the covenant of your fathers, which He swore to them.

For ask now about the former days that were before you, from the day that Elohim created man on the earth, and from one end of the heavens to the other end of the heavens, has anything like this great thing happened, or has anything like it been heard?

Has any people heard the voice of Elohim speaking from the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and lived?

Or has Elohim tried to come and take for Himself a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a strong hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, just as יהוה your Elohim did for you in Mitsrayim before your eyes?

You have been shown to know that יהוה, He is the Elohim; there is no one else besides Him.

From the heavens He made His voice heard to you to discipline you, and on the earth He showed you His great fire, and you heard His words from the midst of the fire.

And because He loved your fathers, He chose their offspring after them, and He brought you out with His presence, with His great power, from Mitsrayim.

To dispossess nations greater and stronger than you from before you, to bring you in to give you their land as an inheritance, as this day.

So know today, and take it to your heart, that יהוה He is the Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth below; there is no other.

And you shall keep His statutes and His commandments that I am commanding you today, so that it may go well for you and for your children after you, and so that you may prolong your days on the ground that יהוה your Elohim is giving you for all days.

Then Mosheh set apart three cities across the Yarden, east of the sun.

To flee there, a killer who kills his neighbor unintentionally, and he did not hate him from yesterday or the day before, and he flees to one of these cities and lives.

Bezer in the wilderness in the plain for the Re'uveni, and Ramot in Gil'ad for the Gadi, and Golan in Bashan for the Manashi.

And this is the law that Mosheh put before the children of Yisra'el.

These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments that Mosheh spoke to the children of Yisra'el when they came out of Mitsrayim.

Across the Yarden, in the valley opposite Beit-Pe'or, in the land of Sihon, king of the Emori, who lived in Hesbon, whom Mosheh and the children of Yisra'el struck when they came out of Mitsrayim.

And they took possession of his land and the land of Og, king of Bashan, two kings of the Emori, who were across the Yarden, east of the sun.

From Aro'er, which is on the bank of the Arnon stream, and to Mount Siyon, which is Hermon.

And all the Arabah, across the Yarden eastward, and to the sea of the Arabah, at the foot of the slopes of Pisgah.
