And Mosheh went and spoke these words to all Yisra'el.

And he said to them, 'I am 120 years old today; I can no longer go out and come in. And יהוה said to me, 'You will not cross this Yarden.'

יהוה your Elohim, he is going before you; he will destroy these nations from before you, and you will possess them. Yehoshua, he is going before you, just as יהוה spoke.

And יהוה will do to them just as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Emori, and to their land, which he destroyed them.

And יהוה will give them before you, and you will do to them according to all the commandment which I commanded you.

Be strong and courageous; do not fear and do not be terrified because of them, for יהוה your Elohim, he is the one going with you; he will not let go of you and he will not abandon you.'

And Mosheh called Yehoshua and said to him in the sight of all Yisra'el, 'Be strong and courageous, for you will go in with this people to the land which יהוה swore to their fathers to give to them, and you will cause them to inherit it.'

And יהוה, he is the one going before you; he will be with you; he will not let go of you and he will not abandon you. You will not fear and you will not be dismayed.'

And Mosheh wrote this Torah and gave it to the kohanim, the sons of Levi, who carry the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה, and to all the elders of Yisra'el.

And Mosheh commanded them, saying, 'At the end of seven years, at the time of the year of release, at the Feast of Sukkot,

when all Yisra'el comes to appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which he will choose, you will read this Torah before all Yisra'el in their hearing.

Gather the people, the men and the women and the little ones and your stranger who is in your gates, so that they may hear and so that they may learn and fear יהוה your Elohim, and be careful to do all the words of this Torah.

And their children who have not known will hear and learn to fear יהוה your Elohim all the days that you live on the ground which you are crossing the Yarden to possess it.'

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Behold, your days to die have drawn near. Call Yehoshua and stand in the Tent of Meeting, and I will command him.' And Mosheh and Yehoshua went and stood in the Tent of Meeting.

And יהוה appeared in the Tent in a pillar of cloud, and the pillar of cloud stood at the entrance of the Tent.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Behold, you are going to lie down with your fathers, and this people will arise and prostitute themselves after the foreign gods of the land where they are going in their midst, and they will forsake me and break my covenant which I made with them.'

And my anger will burn against him on that day, and I will forsake them and hide my face from them, and he will become food, and many evils and troubles will find him, and he will say on that day, 'Is it not because my Elohim is not in my midst that these evils have found me?'

And I, I will surely hide my face on that day for all the evil which he has done, because he has turned to other elohim.

And now, write for yourselves this song, and teach it to the sons of Yisra'el; put it in their mouths, so that this song may be for me a witness among the sons of Yisra'el.

For I will bring them into the land which I swore to their fathers, flowing with milk and honey, and they will eat and be satisfied and grow fat, and they will turn to other elohim and serve them, and they will provoke me and break my covenant.

And it will be, when many evils and troubles find him, that this song will answer before him as a witness, because it will not be forgotten from the mouth of his offspring, for I know his inclination which he is doing today, before I bring him into the land which I swore.'

And Mosheh wrote this song on that day and taught it to the sons of Yisra'el.

And he commanded Yehoshua son of Nun and said, 'Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the sons of Yisra'el into the land which I swore to them, and I will be with you.'

And it happened, when Mosheh finished writing the words of this Torah on a scroll until completion,

And Mosheh commanded the Levites, the carriers of the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה, saying,

'Take this scroll of the Torah and place it beside the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה your Elohim, and it will be there with you as a witness.

For I know your rebellion and your stiff neck. Behold, while I am still alive with you today, you have been rebellious against יהוה, and how much more after my death!

Gather to me all the elders of your tribes and your officers, and I will speak these words in their ears, and I will call heaven and earth to witness against them.

For I know that after my death you will surely corrupt yourselves and turn from the way which I commanded you, and evil will befall you in the latter days, because you will do evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke him by the work of your hands.'

And Mosheh spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Yisra'el the words of this song until completion.
