Mosheh and the elders of Yisra'el commanded the people, saying, 'Observe all the commandment which I am commanding you today.'

And it will be on the day you cross the Yarden to the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, you will set up great stones and plaster them with plaster.

And you will write on them all the words of this Torah, as you cross over, so that you may enter the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, as יהוה Elohim of your fathers spoke to you.

And it will be as you cross the Yarden, you will set up these stones which I am commanding you today on Mount Eival, and you will plaster them with plaster.

And you will build there an altar to יהוה your Elohim, an altar of stones; you shall not wield iron over them.

You will build the altar of יהוה your Elohim with whole stones, and you will offer burnt offerings on it to יהוה your Elohim.

And you will sacrifice peace offerings, and you will eat there and rejoice before יהוה your Elohim.

And you will write on the stones all the words of this Torah, clearly explained.

And Mosheh and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Yisra'el, saying, 'Be silent and listen, Yisra'el. Today you have become a people to יהוה your Elohim.'

And you will listen to the voice of יהוה your Elohim, and you will do His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today.

And Mosheh commanded the people on that day, saying:

These will stand to bless the people on Mount Gerizim as you cross the Yarden: Shim'on, and Levi, and Yehudah, and Yissaskar, and Yosef, and Binyamin.

And these will stand for the curse on Mount Eival: Re'uven, Gad, and Asher, and Zevulun, Dan, and Naftali.

And the Levites will answer and say to every man of Yisra'el with a loud voice:

'Cursed is the man who makes an idol and a molten image, an abomination to יהוה, a work of the hands of a craftsman, and sets it up in secret.' And all the people will answer and say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who dishonors his father and his mother.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who moves his neighbor's boundary marker.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who leads a blind person astray on the road.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who distorts the justice due to a sojourner, an orphan, and a widow.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who lies with his father's wife, for he has uncovered his father's nakedness.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who lies with any animal.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who lies with his sister, his father's daughter or his mother's daughter.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who lies with his mother-in-law.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who takes a bribe to strike down innocent blood.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'

'Cursed is he who does not uphold the words of this Torah to do them.' And all the people will say, 'Amen.'
