And I turned and lifted up my eyes, and I saw, and behold, a flying scroll.

And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits and its width is ten cubits.

And he said to me, This is the curse going out over the face of all the land; for everyone who steals from here like it is innocent, and everyone who swears from here like it is innocent.

I have brought it out, declares יהוה of hosts, and it will come into the house of the thief, and into the house of the one who swears falsely by my name, and it will dwell in the midst of his house, and it will consume it, and its wood, and its stones.

And the angel who was speaking with me went out, and he said to me, Lift up your eyes now, and see what this is that is going out.

And I said, What is it? And he said, This is the ephah going out. And he said, This is their eye in all the land.

And behold, a talent of lead was lifted up, and this is one woman sitting in the midst of the ephah.

And he said, This is wickedness. And he threw her into the midst of the ephah, and he threw the stone of lead into its mouth.

And I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, two women were going out, and wind was in their wings, and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the sky.

And I said to the angel who was speaking with me, Where are they taking the ephah?

And he said to me, To build for her a house in the land of Shinar, and it will be prepared, and she will be placed there on her foundation.
