Praise יהוה! Give thanks to יהוה, for He is good; for His faithfulness is forever.

Who can declare the mighty deeds of יהוה? Who can make known all His praise?

Fortunate are those who keep justice, who practice righteousness at all times.

Remember me, יהוה, with favor toward Your people; visit me with Your salvation.

To see the good of Your chosen ones, to rejoice in the joy of Your nation, to boast with Your inheritance.

We have sinned with our fathers; we have acted perversely; we have done wickedly.

Our fathers in Mitsrayim did not understand Your wonders; they did not remember Your abundant faithfulness, and they rebelled by the sea, at the Sea of Reeds.

But He saved them for the sake of His name, to make known His might.

He rebuked the Sea of Reeds, and it dried up; He led them through the depths like a desert.

He saved them from the hand of the enemy, and He redeemed them from the hand of the adversary.

The waters covered their oppressors; not one of them was left.

Then they believed His words; they sang His praise.

They quickly forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel.

They craved cravings in the desert and tested Elohim in the desolate place.

And He gave them what they asked for, and sent leanness into their souls.

They envied Mosheh in the camp, Aharon, the holy one of יהוה.

The earth opened and swallowed Datan; it covered the assembly of Aviram.

Fire consumed their assembly; a flame burned the wicked.

They made a calf at Ḥorev and bowed down to a metal image.

They exchanged their glory for the image of an ox that eats grass.

They forgot Elohim their Savior, who did great things in Mitsrayim.

Wonders in the land of Ḥam, terrible deeds by the Sea of Reeds.

So He said He would destroy them, had not Mosheh, His chosen one, stood in the breach before Him, to turn back His wrath from destruction.

They despised the desirable land; they did not believe His word.

They grumbled in their tents; they did not listen to the voice of יהוה.

So He raised His hand against them, to make them fall in the desert.

And to make their offspring fall among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

They joined themselves to Ba'al of Pe'or and ate sacrifices offered to the dead.

They provoked Him with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.

Then Pineḥas stood and intervened, and the plague was stopped.

And it was credited to him as righteousness, for generation after generation, forever.

They angered Him at the waters of Meribah, and it went badly for Mosheh because of them.

For they rebelled against His spirit, and he spoke rashly with his lips.

They did not destroy the nations as יהוה had commanded them.

They mingled with the nations and learned their practices.

They served their idols, and they became a snare to them.

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was defiled with blood.

They became defiled by their actions and acted immorally by their deeds.

Then the anger of יהוה burned against His people, and He abhorred His inheritance.

He gave them into the hand of nations, and their enemies ruled over them.

Their enemies oppressed them, and they were humbled under their hand.

Many times He delivered them, but they rebelled according to their counsel and were brought low by their iniquity.

Yet He looked upon their distress when He heard their cry.

And He remembered His covenant for them, and relented according to the abundance of His compassion.

And He granted them compassion before all who held them captive.

Save us, יהוה our Elohim, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks to Your holy name, to boast in Your praise.

Blessed is יהוה, the Elohim of Yisra'el, from everlasting to everlasting. And all the people said, 'Amen.' Praise יהוה!
