And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying,

Each man by his banner, by the signs of their fathers' houses, the sons of Yisra'el shall encamp; around the Tent of Meeting they shall encamp.

And those encamping eastward, toward the sunrise, the banner of the camp of Yehudah, according to their hosts, and the prince of the sons of Yehudah, Nakhshon son of Aminadav.

And his host and their counted ones: seventy-four thousand and six hundred.

And those encamping over it, the tribe of Yissakhar, and the prince of the sons of Yissakhar, Netan'el son of Tzuiar.

And his host and his counted ones: fifty-four thousand and four hundred.

The tribe of Zevulun, and the prince of the sons of Zevulun, Eli'av son of Helon.

And his host and his counted ones: fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.

All the counted ones of the camp of Yehudah: one hundred thousand and eighty thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their hosts; they shall set out first.

The banner of the camp of Re'uven, toward the south, according to their hosts, and the prince of the sons of Re'uven, Elitzur son of Shde'ur.

And his host and his counted ones: forty-six thousand and five hundred.

And those encamping over it, the tribe of Shim'on, and the prince of the sons of Shim'on, Shlumiel son of Tzuri-Shaddai.

And his host and their counted ones: fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.

And the tribe of Gad, and the prince of the sons of Gad, Eliyasaf son of Re'u'el.

And his host and their counted ones: forty-five thousand and six hundred and fifty.

All the counted ones of the camp of Re'uven: one hundred thousand and one and fifty thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their hosts; and they shall set out second.

And the Tent of Meeting shall set out, the camp of the Levites, in the midst of the camps; as they encamp, so shall they set out, each man by his standard, according to their banners.

The banner of the camp of Efrayim, according to their hosts, toward the west, and the prince of the sons of Efrayim, Elishama son of 'Amihud.

And his host and their counted ones: forty thousand and five hundred.

And over it, the tribe of Menasheh, and the prince of the sons of Menasheh, Gamli'el son of Pedah'tzur.

And his host and their counted ones: thirty-two thousand and two hundred.

And the tribe of Binyamin, and the prince of the sons of Binyamin, Avidan son of Gide'oni.

And his host and their counted ones: thirty-five thousand and four hundred.

All the counted ones of the camp of Efrayim: one hundred thousand and eight thousand and one hundred, according to their hosts; and they shall set out third.

The banner of the camp of Dan, toward the north, according to their hosts, and the prince of the sons of Dan, Aḥi'ezer son of 'Amishaddai.

And his host and their counted ones: sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.

And those encamping over it, the tribe of Asher, and the prince of the sons of Asher, Pag'i'el son of 'Akhran.

And his host and their counted ones: forty-one thousand and five hundred.

And the tribe of Naftali, and the prince of the sons of Naftali, Aḥira son of 'Enan.

And his host and their counted ones: fifty-three thousand and four hundred.

All the counted ones of the camp of Dan: one hundred thousand and seventy thousand and six hundred; they shall set out last, according to their banners.

These are the counted ones of the sons of Yisra'el, by their fathers' houses; all the counted ones of the camps, according to their hosts: six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

But the Levites were not counted among the sons of Yisra'el, as יהוה commanded Mosheh.

And the sons of Yisra'el did according to all that יהוה commanded Mosheh; so they encamped by their banners, and so they set out, each man according to his clans, by his fathers' houses.
