And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Speak to Aharon and to his sons and to all the sons of Yisra'el, and you shall say to them, 'This is the thing which יהוה has commanded, saying:

'Any man from your offspring, through all your generations, who comes near to the holy things which the sons of Yisra'el consecrate to יהוה, and he has uncleanness upon him, that person shall be cut off from before Me. I am יהוה.

'No man from the offspring of Aharon, if he is leprous or has a discharge, shall eat of the holy things until he is clean. And he who touches anything made unclean by a dead person, or a man from whom seminal emission has gone out,

or he who touches any crawling thing by which he becomes unclean, or a man by whom he becomes unclean, according to any uncleanness he has,

the person who touches it shall be unclean until evening, and he shall not eat of the holy things, unless he has washed his body with water.

'And when the sun sets, he shall be clean, and afterward he may eat of the holy things, because it is his food.

'He shall not eat an animal that died of itself or was torn by beasts, to become unclean by it. I am יהוה.

'They shall keep My charge, so that they do not bear sin because of it and die by it, if they profane it. I am יהוה who sanctifies them.

'And no outsider shall eat of the holy thing; a sojourner with a priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

'But if a priest buys a person with his money, he may eat of it, and those born in his house, they may eat of his food.

'And if a priest's daughter becomes wife to an outsider, she shall not eat of the heave-offering of the holy things.

'But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and she has no offspring, and she returns to her father's house as in her youth, she may eat of her father's food. But no outsider shall eat of it.

'And if a man eats a holy thing by mistake, he shall add a fifth part to it and give the holy thing to the priest.

'They shall not profane the holy things of the sons of Yisra'el, which they offer to יהוה,

and cause them to bear the guilt of iniquity when they eat their holy things. For I am יהוה who sanctifies them.'

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

'Speak to Aharon and to his sons and to all the sons of Yisra'el, and say to them, 'Any man from the house of Yisra'el, or from the sojourners in Yisra'el, who offers his offering for any of their vows and for any of their freewill offerings, which they offer to יהוה as a burnt offering,

for your acceptance, it shall be a male without blemish, from the cattle, from the sheep, or from the goats.

'Whatever has a blemish, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you.

'And when a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to יהוה to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, from the cattle or from the sheep, it shall be without blemish to be accepted; no defect shall be in it.

'Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a running sore, or scabby, or mangy, you shall not offer these to יהוה, nor give any of them as an offering by fire to יהוה.

'Either a bull or a lamb that has an injured or crushed limb, you may offer it as a freewill offering, but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

'You shall not offer to יהוה that which is crushed, or bruised, or torn, or cut. And you shall not make such an offering in your land.

'Nor from the hand of a foreigner shall you offer the food of your Elohim from any of these, because their corruption is in them, they have defects; they shall not be accepted for you.'

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

'When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, for seven days it shall be under its mother; but from the eighth day and onward, it shall be accepted as an offering by fire to יהוה.

'And whether it is a bull or a sheep, you shall not slaughter it and its young on the same day.

'And when you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to יהוה, you shall sacrifice it so that it may be accepted.

'On that day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until morning. I am יהוה.

'You shall keep My commandments and perform them. I am יהוה.

'You shall not profane My holy name, and I shall be sanctified among the sons of Yisra'el. I am יהוה who sanctifies you,

who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim to be your Elohim. I am יהוה.'
