And יהוה spoke to Mosheh after the death of the two sons of Aharon, when they drew near before יהוה, and they died.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, Speak to Aharon your brother, and let him not come at every time into the holy place, inside the veil, before the atonement lid, which is on the ark, lest he die, for in a cloud I appear on the atonement lid.

With this, Aharon shall come into the holy place: with a bull, a son of cattle, for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.

A holy linen tunic he shall wear, and linen breeches shall be on his flesh, and with a linen sash he shall gird himself, and with a linen turban he shall be turbaned; they are holy garments. And he shall wash his flesh with water and put them on.

And from the congregation of the sons of Yisra'el he shall take two male goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

And Aharon shall present the sin offering bull which is his, and he shall make atonement for himself and for his household.

And he shall take the two goats and set them before יהוה at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

And Aharon shall cast lots on the two goats; one lot for יהוה, and one lot for Azazel.

And Aharon shall present the goat on which the lot for יהוה fell, and he shall make it a sin offering.

And the goat on which the lot for Azazel fell shall be presented alive before יהוה, to make atonement with it, to send it away to Azazel in the wilderness.

And Aharon shall present the sin offering bull which is his, and he shall make atonement for himself and for his household, and he shall slaughter the sin offering bull which is his.

And he shall take a full censer of burning coals from the altar from before יהוה, and a double handful of finely ground incense, and he shall bring it inside the veil.

And he shall put the incense on the fire before יהוה, and the cloud of the incense shall cover the atonement lid which is on the Testimony, and he shall not die.

And he shall take some of the blood of the bull and sprinkle with his finger on the face of the atonement lid, eastward, and before the atonement lid he shall sprinkle seven times with the blood with his finger.

And he shall slaughter the sin offering goat which is for the people, and he shall bring its blood inside the veil, and he shall do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and he shall sprinkle it on the atonement lid and before the atonement lid.

And he shall make atonement for the holy place because of the impurities of the sons of Yisra'el, and because of their transgressions, for all their sins. And so he shall do for the tent of meeting, which dwells with them in the midst of their impurities.

And no person shall be in the tent of meeting when he goes in to make atonement in the holy place until he comes out, and he shall make atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the assembly of Yisra'el.

And he shall go out to the altar which is before יהוה, and make atonement for it, and he shall take some of the blood of the bull and of the blood of the goat, and put it on the horns of the altar all around.

And he shall sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times, and he shall cleanse it and consecrate it from the impurities of the sons of Yisra'el.

And when he finishes making atonement for the holy place, and for the tent of meeting, and for the altar, he shall present the live goat.

And Aharon shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over it all the iniquities of the sons of Yisra'el, and all their transgressions, for all their sins. And he shall put them on the head of the goat, and send it away by the hand of an appointed man into the wilderness.

And the goat shall bear on itself all their iniquities to a land of separation, and he shall send the goat away in the wilderness.

And Aharon shall go into the tent of meeting, and he shall take off the linen garments which he wore when he went into the holy place, and leave them there.

And he shall wash his flesh with water in a holy place, and put on his garments, and he shall go out and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make atonement for himself and for the people.

And the fat of the sin offering he shall burn on the altar.

And the one who sends the goat away to Azazel shall wash his clothes and wash his flesh with water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

And the bull of the sin offering and the goat of the sin offering, whose blood was brought to make atonement in the holy place, he shall take outside the camp, and they shall burn their skins and their flesh and their dung with fire.

And the one who burns them shall wash his clothes and wash his flesh with water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.

And it shall be to you a statute forever: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and you shall do no work, the native-born and the stranger who sojourns among you.

For on this day he shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you from all your sins; before יהוה you shall be cleansed.

It is a Sabbath of Sabbaths to you, and you shall afflict your souls; it is a statute forever.

And the priest whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall ordain to minister as priest in his father's place, shall make atonement, and he shall wear the linen garments, the holy garments.

And he shall make atonement for the holy sanctuary, and for the tent of meeting, and for the altar he shall make atonement, and for the priests and for all the people of the assembly he shall make atonement.

And this shall be to you a statute forever, to make atonement for the sons of Yisra'el for all their sins, once in the year. And he did as יהוה commanded Mosheh.
