And Hazor will become a dwelling place for jackals, a desolation forever; no one will live there, and no son of man will sojourn in it.

Thus says יהוה of hosts: Behold, I am breaking the bow of Elam, the first of their might.

And I will bring upon Elam the four winds from the four corners of the heavens, and I will scatter them to all these winds; and there will be no nation to which the exiles of Elam will not come.

And I will terrify Elam before their enemies and before those who seek their life; and I will bring upon them disaster, the heat of my anger, says יהוה, and I will send the sword after them until I consume them.

And I will set my throne in Elam and destroy from there king and princes, says יהוה.

And it will be in the latter days, I will restore the fortunes of Elam, says יהוה.
