The Spirit of יהוה Elohim is upon me because יהוה has anointed me to bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom to captives, and release to those in prison.

To proclaim the year of יהוה's favor and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all who mourn.

To appoint for those who mourn in Tsiyon, to give them a turban instead of ashes, oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; and they will be called trees of righteousness, the planting of יהוה, that He may be glorified.

And they will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.

And strangers will stand and shepherd your flocks; foreigners will be your farmers and vinedressers.

But you will be called priests of יהוה; you will be named ministers of our Elohim. You will eat the wealth of the nations and boast in their glory.

Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion; instead of disgrace, they will rejoice in their lot. Therefore, they will possess a double portion in their land; everlasting joy will be theirs.

For I, יהוה, love justice; I hate robbery with wrongdoing. I will give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

And their offspring will be known among the nations, and their descendants among the peoples; all who see them will recognize them, that they are the offspring blessed by יהוה.

I will greatly rejoice in יהוה; my soul will exult in my Elohim, for He has clothed me with garments of salvation; He has covered me with a robe of righteousness, like a bridegroom adorned with a turban, and like a bride with her jewels.

For as the earth brings forth its sprouts, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to sprout, so Adonai יהוה will cause righteousness and praise to sprout before all the nations.
