Look, יהוה's hand is not short to save, and his ear is not heavy to hear.

But your iniquities are what separate between you and your Elohim, and your sins have hidden his face from you, so he does not hear.

For your hands are stained with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken falsehood, your tongue has uttered perverseness.

There is no one calling in righteousness, and no one judging in faithfulness; they trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive trouble and bring forth perverseness.

They hatch viper's eggs and weave a spider's web; the one eating their eggs dies, and what is hatched breaks open into a viper.

Their webs will not become clothing, nor will they cover themselves with their works; their works are works of perverseness, and the act of violence is in their hands.

Their feet run to evil, and they hurry to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of perverseness; ruin and destruction are in their paths.

They do not know the way of peace, and there is no justice in their paths; they have made their ways crooked; whoever walks in them does not know peace.

Therefore, justice is far from us, and righteousness does not reach us; we look for light, but behold, darkness; for brightness, but we walk in gloom.

We grope like the blind along a wall, and like those without eyes we grope; we stumble at noon as at twilight; among the robust we are like the dead.

We all groan like bears, and we moan like doves; we look for justice, but it is not there; for salvation, but it is far from us.

For our transgressions are many before you, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and we know our iniquities.

To transgress and to deny יהוה, and to turn back from following our Elohim; to speak oppression and revolt, to utter falsehood and perverseness from the heart.

And justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far off; for truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter.

And truth is absent, and the one who turns from evil is plundered; and יהוה saw, and it displeased him that there was no justice.

And he saw that there was no man, and he was astonished that there was no intercessor; so his own arm brought him salvation, and his righteousness sustained him.

And he put on righteousness like armor, and a helmet of salvation on his head; and he put on garments of vengeance as clothing, and was wrapped in zeal like a cloak.

According to their deeds, so he will repay; fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense.

And they will fear the name of יהוה from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come like a rushing stream, which the spirit of יהוה drives.

And a redeemer will come to Tsiyon, and to those who turn from transgression in Ya'aqov, declares יהוה.

And as for me, this is my covenant with them, says יהוה: My spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring's offspring, says יהוה, from now and forever.
