יהוה my Elohim, you I will exalt, I will thank your name, for you have done wonders, plans from afar, faithfulness, truth.

For you have made from a city a ruin, a fortified town a mound, a palace of strangers from a city, forever it will not be built.

Therefore they will honor you, a people of strength, the city of nations, the awesome ones will fear you.

For you have been a stronghold for the humble, a stronghold for the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, shade from the heat, for the spirit of the awesome ones is like a storm against a wall.

Like heat in a desert, the roar of strangers you will humble, heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the awesome ones will be silenced.

And יהוה of hosts will make for all the peoples on this mountain a feast of fats, a feast of aged wines, fats refined, aged wines strained.

And he will swallow on this mountain the face of the covering, the covering over all the peoples, and the veil spread over all the nations.

He will swallow death forever, and my Adonai יהוה will wipe away a tear from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will remove from all the earth, for יהוה has spoken.

And they will say on that day, 'Behold, our Elohim, this one we waited for him and he will save us, this is יהוה, we waited for him, let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.'

For the hand of יהוה will rest on this mountain, and Mo'av will be trodden down under him like straw is trodden down in the dung pit.

And he will spread his hands in its midst like a swimmer spreads his hands to swim, and he will bring down his pride with the traps of his hands.

And the fortress of your high walls he will bring down, he will bring low, he will bring to the ground, to the dust.
