Sons of Levi: Gershom, Qehath, and Merari.

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shim'i.

And the sons of Qehath: Amram, Yitsḥar, Hevron, and Uzi'el.

Sons of Merari: Maḥli and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

To Gershom, his son Libni, his son Yaḥath, his son Zimmah,

his son Yo'aḥ, his son 'Iddo, his son Zerach, his son Ye'atray.

Sons of Qehath: his son Aminadav, his son Korach, his son Assir.

His son Elqanah, and his son 'Evyasaph, and his son Assir.

His son Taḥath, his son Uri'el, his son 'Uziyah, and his son Sha'ul.

And the sons of Elqanah: 'Amashay and 'Aḥimot.

Sons of Elqanah: his son Tsophay, and his son Naḥath.

His son Eli'av, his son Yerokham, his son Elqanah.

And the sons of Shemu'el: the firstborn Yo'el and Vasni.

Sons of Merari: Maḥli, his son Libni, his son Shim'i, his son 'Uzzah.

His son Shim'a, his son Ḥaggiya, his son 'Asaya.

And these are those whom David appointed over the service of song in the house of יהוה, from the time the Ark rested.

And they served before the tent of meeting, in song, until Shelomoh built the house of יהוה in Yerushalayim, and they stood according to their ordinance on their service.

And these are those who stood, and their sons, from the sons of the Qehathi: Heman, the singer, son of Yo'el, son of Shemu'el,

son of Elqanah, son of Yerokham, son of Eli'el, son of Toaḥ,

son of Tsuf, son of Elqanah, son of Maḥath, son of 'Amashay,

son of Elqanah, son of Yo'el, son of 'Azaryah, son of Tsephanyah,

son of Taḥath, son of Assir, son of 'Evyasaph, son of Korach,

son of Yitsḥar, son of Qehath, son of Levi, son of Yisra'el.

And his brother Assaph, who stood at his right hand, Assaph son of Berekyahu, son of Shim'a,

son of Mikha'el, son of Ba'aseyah, son of Malkiyahu,

son of 'Ethni, son of Zerach, son of 'Adayah,

son of 'Ethan, son of Zimmah, son of Shim'i,

son of Yaḥath, son of Gershom, son of Levi.

And the sons of Merari, their brothers, on the left: 'Ethan son of Qishi, son of 'Abdi, son of Malluk,

son of Ḥashavyah, son of 'Amatzyah, son of Ḥilqiyahu,

son of 'Amtsi, son of Bani, son of Shomer,

son of Maḥli, son of Mushi, son of Merari, son of Levi.

And their brothers the Levites were appointed to all the service of the tabernacle of the house of Elohim.

And Aharon and his sons offered on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense for all the work of the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Yisra'el, according to all that Mosheh, servant of Elohim, commanded.

And these are the sons of Aharon: El'azar his son, Pineḥas his son, 'Avishu'a his son,

Buqi his son, 'Uzzi his son, Zerachyah his son,

Merayot his son, 'Amariah his son, 'Aḥituv his son,

Tsadok his son, 'Aḥima'ats his son.

And these are their dwelling places by their encampments, for the sons of Aharon, of the family of the Qehathi, for theirs was the lot.

And they gave them Hevron in the land of Yehudah, and its pasture lands around it.

And the field of the city and its villages they gave to Caleb son of Yefuneh.

And to the sons of Aharon they gave the cities of refuge: Hevron and Libnah and its villages, and Yatir and its villages, and Eshtemoa and its villages,

and Ḥilez and its villages, and Devir and its villages,

and Ashan and its villages, and Beit-Shemesh and its villages.

And from the tribe of Binyamin: Gib'ah and its villages, and 'Alemet and its villages, and 'Anatot and its villages. All their cities, thirteen cities, according to their families.

And to the sons of Qehath, the remaining ones from the families of the tribe, from half the tribe of half Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

And to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, from the tribe of Yissakhar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naftali, and from the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

To the sons of Merari, according to their families, from the tribe of Re'uven, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zevulun, by lot, twelve cities.

And the sons of Yisra'el gave the cities and their villages to the Levites.

And they gave by lot from the tribe of the sons of Yehudah, and from the tribe of the sons of Shim'on, and from the tribe of the sons of Binyamin, these cities which were called by name.

And from the families of the sons of Qehath, their boundary cities were from the tribe of Efrayim.

And they gave them the cities of refuge: Shekhem and its villages in the hill country of Efrayim, and Gezer and its villages,

and Yoqme'am and its villages, and Beit-Ḥoron and its villages,

and Ayalon and its villages, and Gat-Rimmon and its villages.

And from half the tribe of Manasseh: 'Aner and its villages, and Bil'am and its villages, for the families of the remaining sons of Qehath.

To the sons of Gershom, from the families of half the tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan and its villages, and 'Ashtarot and its villages.

And from the tribe of Yissakhar: Qedesh and its villages, and Daberath and its villages,

and Ramot and its villages, and 'Anem and its villages.

And from the tribe of Asher: Mashal and its villages, and 'Avdon and its villages,

and Ḥukok and its villages, and Reḥov and its villages.

And from the tribe of Naftali: Qedesh in Galilee and its villages, and Ḥammon and its villages, and Qiryatayim and its villages.

To the remaining sons of Merari, from the tribe of Zevulun: Rimmono and its villages, and Tabor and its villages.

And from beyond the Jordan of Yerikho, east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Re'uven: Betser in the wilderness and its villages, and Yaḥats and its villages,

and Qedemot and its villages, and Mepha'at and its villages.

And from the tribe of Gad: Ramot in Gil'ad and its villages, and Maḥanayim and its villages,

and Ḥeshbon and its villages, and Ya'azer and its villages.
