From the sons of Pinhhas, Gershom; from the sons of Itamar, Dani'el; from the sons of David, Ḥattoosh.

From the sons of Shakhanyahu, from the sons of Par'osh, Zekharyah, and with him one hundred and fifty males.

From the sons of Pakhat Mo'av, Elih'o'enai son of Zerakhanyahu, and with him two hundred males.

From the sons of Shakhanyahu, son of Yaḥazi'el, and with him three hundred males.

And from the sons of 'Adin, 'Evved son of Yonatan, and with him fifty males.

And from the sons of 'Elam, Yash'anyahu son of 'Atalyah, and with him seventy males.

And from the sons of Shfatyah, Zevadyah son of Mikha'el, and with him eighty males.

From the sons of Yo'av, 'Ovadanyahu son of Yehi'el, and with him two hundred and eighteen males.

And from the sons of Shlomit, son of Yosefanyahu, and with him one hundred and sixty males.

And from the sons of Bevai, Zekharyah son of Bevai, and with him twenty-eight males.

And from the sons of 'Azgad, Yoḥanan son of Haqaṭan, and with him one hundred and ten males.

And from the sons of Adonikam, the last ones, and these are their names: Elipelet, Ye'i'el, and Shma'anyahu, and with them sixty males.

And from the sons of Bigvai, 'Utay and Zakur, and with him seventy males.

And I gathered them to the river Ahava, and we encamped there three days, and I inspected the people and the priests, and from the sons of Levi I did not find any there.

And I sent for Eli'ezer, for Ari'el, for Shma'anyahu, and for Elnatan, and for Yariv, and for Elnatan, and for Natan, and for Zekharyah, and for Meshullam, leaders, and for Yoyariv and for Elnatan, instructors.

And I commanded them concerning Iddo the chief at Kasfiyah the place, and I put words in their mouths to speak to Iddo, his brother, the Nethinim at Kasfiyah the place, to bring us servants for the house of our Elohim.

And they brought us according to the good hand of our Elohim upon us, a man of understanding from the sons of Makhli, son of Levi, son of Yisra'el, and Sherevyah, and his sons and his brothers, eighteen.

And Hashavyah, and with him Yash'anyahu from the sons of Merari, and his brothers and their sons, twenty.

And from the Nethinim, whom David and the officials had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinim, all of them were named.

And I proclaimed a fast there on the river Ahava, to afflict ourselves before our Elohim, to ask from Him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our possessions.

For I was ashamed to ask from the king soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the way, because we had said to the king, saying, 'The hand of our Elohim is for good upon all who seek Him, and His strength and His wrath are against all who forsake Him.'

And we fasted and asked from our Elohim concerning this, and He was favorable to us.

And I separated from the chiefs of the priests twelve, for Sherevyah, Hashavyah, and with them ten of their brothers.

And I weighed out to them the silver and the gold and the vessels, the offering for the house of our Elohim, which the king and his counselors and his officials and all Yisra'el who were present had offered.

And I weighed into their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and one hundred talents of silver vessels, and one hundred talents of gold.

And twenty golden bowls for a thousand darics, and two fine bronze vessels, precious as gold.

And I said to them, 'You are holy to יהוה, and the vessels are holy, and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to יהוה, the Elohim of your fathers.'

Be diligent and guard them until you weigh them out before the chiefs of the priests and the Levites and the chiefs of the fathers' houses of Yisra'el in Yerushalayim, in the chambers of the house of יהוה.

And the priests and the Levites received the weight of the silver and the gold and the vessels, to bring them to Yerushalayim to the house of our Elohim.

And we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month to go to Yerushalayim, and the hand of our Elohim was upon us, and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and the ambusher on the way.

And we came to Yerushalayim, and we stayed there three days.

And on the fourth day the silver and the gold and the vessels were weighed in the house of our Elohim by the hand of Meremoth son of Uriyah the priest, and with him was Ele'azar son of Pinhhas, and with them was Yozavad son of Binnuy the Levite.

By number, by weight for all, and all the weight was recorded at that time.

Those who came from the captivity, the children of the exile, offered burnt offerings to the Elohim of Yisra'el: twelve bulls for all Yisra'el, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, twelve male goats for a sin offering, all a burnt offering to יהוה.

And they delivered the king's decrees to the king's satraps and to the governors beyond the River, and they supported the people and the house of Elohim.
