And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Carve for yourself two tablets of stone like the first ones, and I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you shattered.'

'And be ready for the morning, and you shall ascend in the morning to Mount Sinai, and stand before me there on the top of the mountain.'

'And no man shall ascend with you, and also, no man shall be seen in all the mountain; even the sheep and the cattle shall not graze opposite that mountain.'

'And he carved two tablets of stone like the first ones, and Mosheh got up early in the morning and ascended to Mount Sinai, as יהוה commanded him, and he took in his hand two tablets of stone.'

'And יהוה descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and called out in the name of יהוה.'

'And יהוה passed before him and called out, יהוה, יהוה, compassionate and gracious Elohim, slow to anger and abundant in kindness and truth.'

'Keeping kindness for thousands of generations, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and who will not clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of fathers upon sons and upon sons' sons, upon the third and upon the fourth generation.'

'And Mosheh hurried and bowed down to the earth and worshipped.'

'And he said, 'If now I have found favor in your eyes, Adonai, please let Adonai go in our midst, for it is a stiff-necked people, and you shall forgive our iniquity and our sin, and you shall inherit us.''

'And he said, 'Behold, I am making a covenant. Before all your people I will do wonders that have not been created in all the earth and in all nations, and all the people in whose midst you are shall see the work of יהוה, for it is awesome, what I am doing with you.'

'Observe for yourself what I am commanding you today. Behold, I am driving out before you the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Hivite and the Jebusite.'

'Take care for yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are coming, lest it become a snare in your midst.'

'For you shall tear down their altars and you shall break their pillars and you shall cut down their Asherah.'

'For you shall not bow down to another el, for יהוה, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous el.'

'Lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they prostitute themselves after their elohim, and they sacrifice to their elohim, and they invite you, and you eat of their sacrifice.'

'And you shall take of their daughters for your sons, and your daughters shall prostitute themselves after their elohim, and they shall make your sons prostitute themselves after their elohim.'

'You shall not make for yourself a molten elohim.'

'You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in the month of Aviv you went out from Mitsrayim.'

'Every firstborn of the womb is mine, and every male of your livestock, firstborn of ox and sheep.'

'And the firstborn of a donkey you shall redeem with a lamb, and if you do not redeem it, you shall break its neck. Every firstborn of your sons you shall redeem, and they shall not appear before me empty-handed.'

'Six days you shall work, and on the seventh day you shall rest; in plowing and in harvest you shall rest.'

'And you shall make for yourself the Feast of Weeks, the firstfruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the turning of the year.'

'Three times in the year all your males shall appear before the face of Adonai, יהוה, Elohim of Yisra'el.'

'For I will drive out nations before you and enlarge your territory, and no man shall covet your land when you go up to appear before the face of יהוה your Elohim three times in the year.'

'You shall not slaughter with leavened bread the blood of my sacrifice, and the sacrifice of the Passover feast shall not remain until morning.'

'The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring to the house of יהוה your Elohim. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.'

'And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Write for yourself these words, for according to the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Yisra'el.''

'And he was there with יהוה forty days and forty nights; he did not eat bread and he did not drink water, and he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten sayings.'

'And it came to pass when Mosheh came down from Mount Sinai, and the two tablets of the testimony were in Mosheh's hand when he came down from the mountain, and Mosheh did not know that the skin of his face had shone because he had spoken with him.'

'And Aharon and all the sons of Yisra'el saw Mosheh, and behold, the skin of his face had shone, and they were afraid to come near him.'

'And Mosheh called to them, and Aharon and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Mosheh spoke to them.'

'And afterward all the sons of Yisra'el came near, and he commanded them all that יהוה had spoken with him on Mount Sinai.'

'And Mosheh finished speaking with them, and he put a veil on his face.'

'And when Mosheh went in before יהוה to speak with him, he would remove the veil until he came out, and he would come out and speak to the sons of Yisra'el what he was commanded.'

'And the sons of Yisra'el saw the face of Mosheh, that the skin of Mosheh's face had shone, and Mosheh would put the veil back on his face until he came in to speak with him.'
