And you, bring near to yourself Aharon your brother, and his sons with him, from among the sons of Yisra'el, to minister as priests to me: Aharon, Nadav, and Avihu, Ele'azar, and Ithamar, sons of Aharon.

And you shall make holy garments for Aharon your brother, for honor and for splendor.

And you shall speak to all who are wise of heart, whom I have filled with a spirit of wisdom, and they shall make the garments of Aharon, to consecrate him, to minister as priest to me.

And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a tunic of checkered work, a turban, and a sash. And they shall make holy garments for Aharon your brother and for his sons, to minister as priests to me.

And they shall take the gold, and the blue, and the purple, and the crimson yarn, and the fine linen.

And they shall make the ephod: gold, blue, and purple, and crimson yarn, and fine linen, twisted, a craftsman's work.

Two shoulder pieces shall it have, joined to its two ends, and it shall be joined.

And the craftsman's work of its ephod, which is upon it, according to its making, from it shall be: gold, blue, and purple, and crimson yarn, and fine linen, twisted.

And you shall take two onyx stones, and engrave upon them the names of the sons of Yisra'el.

Six of their names on the one stone, and the names of the six remaining on the second stone, according to their generations.

A craftsman's work of a stone engraver, engravings of a seal, you shall engrave the two stones according to the names of the sons of Yisra'el; they shall be set in gold mountings.

And you shall place the two stones on the shoulders of the ephod, memorial stones for the sons of Yisra'el, and Aharon shall bear their names before יהוה on his two shoulders, for a memorial.

And you shall make mountings of gold.

And two chains of pure gold, braided, you shall make them, a work of twisted cords, and you shall put the chains of twisted cords onto the mountings.

And you shall make the breastplate of judgment, a craftsman's work; like the work of the ephod you shall make it: gold, blue, and purple, and crimson yarn, and fine linen, twisted, you shall make it.

It shall be square; doubled, a span its length, and a span its width.

And you shall fill it with settings of stones, four rows of stones: a row of carnelian, topaz, and emerald; the first row.

And the second row: turquoise, sapphire, and diamond.

And the third row: lapis lazuli, agate, and amethyst.

And the fourth row: beryl, onyx, and jasper, set in gold in their settings.

And the stones shall be according to the names of the sons of Yisra'el, twelve, according to their names; like seal engravings, each one according to his name, they shall be for the twelve tribes.

And you shall make on the breastplate chains of braided work, of pure gold.

And you shall make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and you shall put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

And you shall put the two braided cords of gold on the two rings, on the ends of the breastplate.

And you shall put the two ends of the two cords on the two mountings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, toward its front.

And you shall make two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on its edge which is toward the ephod, inside.

And you shall make two rings of gold, and put them on the two shoulder pieces of the ephod, below, toward its front, next to its joining, above the craftsman's work of the ephod.

And they shall tie the breastplate by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a cord of blue, so that the breastplate may be on the craftsman's work of the ephod, and the breastplate may not come loose from the ephod.

And Aharon shall bear the names of the sons of Yisra'el in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes into the holy place, for a memorial before יהוה continually.

And you shall put into the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, and they shall be on Aharon's heart when he goes in before יהוה, and Aharon shall bear the judgment of the sons of Yisra'el on his heart before יהוה continually.

And you shall make the robe of the ephod, a complete blue.

And the opening of its head shall be in its midst, a binding shall be for its opening, around, a weaver's work; like the opening of a coat of mail it shall be for it, it shall not be torn.

And you shall make on its hem: pomegranates of blue, and purple, and crimson yarn, on its hem all around, and golden bells in their midst all around.

A golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, on the hem of the robe all around.

And it shall be on Aharon for service, and its sound shall be heard when he goes into the holy place before יהוה and when he comes out, and he shall not die.

And you shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it engravings of a seal: 'Holy to יהוה'.

And you shall put it on a cord of blue, and it shall be on the turban, toward the front of the turban it shall be.

And it shall be on the forehead of Aharon, and Aharon shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the sons of Yisra'el shall consecrate, concerning all their holy gifts; and it shall be on his forehead continually, for acceptance for them before יהוה.

And you shall weave the tunic of fine linen, and you shall make a turban of fine linen, and you shall make a sash, a weaver's work.

And for the sons of Aharon you shall make tunics, and you shall make sashes for them, and you shall make caps for them, for honor and for splendor.

And you shall clothe them, Aharon your brother and his sons with him, and you shall anoint them, and you shall ordain them, and you shall consecrate them, and they shall minister as priests to me.

And make for them linen breeches to cover their nakedness, from the waist to the thighs they shall be.

And they shall be on Aharon and on his sons when they come into the Tent of Meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, and they shall not bear guilt and die; an everlasting statute for him and for his offspring after him.
