At that time יהוה said to me, 'Carve for yourself two stone tablets like the first ones, and come up to me on the mountain, and make for yourself a wooden ark.'

And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you shattered, and you shall put them in the ark.

So I made an ark of acacia wood, and I carved two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up the mountain, and the two tablets were in my hand.

And he wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which יהוה spoke to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire, on the day of the assembly, and יהוה gave them to me.

And I turned and went down from the mountain, and I put the tablets in the ark which I made, and they are there, just as יהוה commanded me.

And the children of Yisra'el journeyed from Beerot Bene Ya'aqan to Moserah. There Aharon died and was buried there, and his son El'azar served as priest in his place.

From there they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Yotbatah, a land of streams of water.

At that time יהוה separated the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה to serve him and to bless in his name until this day.

Therefore, Levi did not have a portion or an inheritance with his brothers; יהוה is his inheritance, just as יהוה your Elohim spoke to him.

And I stood on the mountain, like the first days, forty days and forty nights, and יהוה listened to me at that time also; יהוה was not willing to destroy you.

And יהוה said to me, 'Arise, go on your journey before the people, and they shall go in and inherit the land which I swore to their fathers, to give to them.'

And now, Yisra'el, what does יהוה your Elohim ask of you, except to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul?

To keep the commandments of יהוה and his statutes, which I command you today for your good.

Behold, to יהוה your Elohim belong the heavens and the heavens of heavens, the earth and all that is in it.

Only with your fathers did יהוה delight to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, you, from all the peoples, as on this day.

So circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and do not stiffen your neck anymore.

For יהוה your Elohim, he is the Elohim of elohim and the Adonai of adonim, the great, mighty, and awesome El, who shows no partiality and takes no bribe.

He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.

And you shall love the sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Mitsrayim.

You shall fear יהוה your Elohim; him you shall serve, and to him you shall cling, and by his name you shall swear.

He is your praise and he is your Elohim, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.

With seventy souls your fathers went down to Mitsrayim, and now יהוה your Elohim has made you as the stars of the heavens in multitude.
