And I, in the first year of Daryavesh the Mede, stood as a support and a stronghold for him.

And now, truth I will tell you. Behold, still three kings stand for Paras, and the fourth will enrich great riches more than all, and by his strength in his riches, he will stir up all against the kingdom of Yavan.

And a mighty king will stand, and he will rule a great dominion, and he will do according to his will.

And as he stands, his kingdom will be broken and divided into the four winds of the sky, not to his posterity, and not according to his rule which he ruled, for his kingdom will be torn out and given to others besides these.

And the king of the South will become strong, and one of his princes, and he will become strong against him, and rule a great dominion, his rule.

And at the end of years, they will join together, and the daughter of the king of the South will come to the king of the North to make things right, but she will not retain the power of the arm, and he will not stand, nor his offspring, and she will be given up, and those who brought her, and her mother, and he who supported her in those times.

And a shoot from her roots will stand in her place, and he will come against the army, and he will come with the might of the king of the North, and he will act against them and prevail.

And also their gods, with their molten images, with their precious vessels of silver and gold, he will bring as captives to Mitsrayim, and he will stand for years against the king of the North.

And he will come into the kingdom of the king of the South and return to his land.

And his sons will stir up strife, and they will gather a great multitude of armies, and one will come and flood and pass through, and will return and stir up strife even to his stronghold.

And the king of the South will become bitter, and he will go out and fight against him, against the king of the North, and he will muster a great multitude, and the multitude will be given into his hand.

And the multitude will be lifted up, and his heart will be lifted up, and he will cast down tens of thousands, but he will not prevail.

And the king of the North will return, and he will muster a greater multitude than the first, and at the end of the appointed times, he will come with a great army and abundant riches.

And in those times, many will stand against the king of the South, and the rebellious sons of your people will exalt themselves to establish a vision, but they will stumble.

And the king of the North will come and cast up a siege ramp, and capture fortified cities, and the armies of the South will not stand, nor their chosen people, and there will be no strength to stand.

And he who comes against him will do as he pleases, and no one will stand before him, and he will stand in the land of beauty, and destruction will be in his hand.

And he will set his face to come with the full power of his kingdom, and the upright will be with him, and he will act, and the daughters of women he will give to him for corruption, but she will not stand, nor will she be his.

And he will turn his face to the coastlands and capture many, and a ruler will put an end to his reproach, and he will return his reproach upon himself.

And he will turn his face to the strongholds of his land, and he will stumble and fall, and he will not be found.

And one will stand in his place who will exact tribute, the glory of the kingdom, but in a few days he will be broken, not by anger, nor by war.

And one will stand in his place, despised, and they will not give him the honor of the kingdom, but he will come in times of peace and seize the kingdom through flattery.

And the overwhelming forces will be swept away before him, and they will be broken, and also the prince of the covenant.

And after they join with him, he will practice deceit, and he will rise up and become powerful with a small nation.

In times of peace and in the richest provinces he will come, and he will do what his fathers and his fathers' fathers never did; he will plunder spoils and riches among them, and he will devise plans against the strongholds, and until the appointed time.

And he will stir up his strength and his heart against the king of the South with a great army, and the king of the South will prepare for war with a very great and mighty army, but he will not stand, for they will devise plans against him.

And those who eat his rich food will break him, and his army will be swept away, and many will fall slain.

And the hearts of both kings will be bent on evil, and they will speak lies at one table, but it will not succeed, for the end is still for the appointed time.

And he will return to his land with great riches, and his heart will be set against the holy covenant, and he will act, and return to his land.

At the appointed time, he will return and come into the South, and it will not be as the first time or the last.

And ships from Kittim will come against him, and he will be disheartened, and he will return and rage against the holy covenant, and he will act, and he will return and understand those who forsake the holy covenant.

And forces from him will stand, and they will desecrate the fortified sanctuary, and they will remove the daily offering, and they will set up the abomination that causes desolation.

And those who act wickedly against the covenant, he will corrupt with flattery, but the people who know their Elohim will stand firm and act.

And those who understand among the people will instruct many, and they will stumble by sword and by flame, by captivity and by plunder for days.

And when they stumble, they will receive a little help, and many will join them with flattery.

And some of those who understand will stumble, to refine among them, and to purify, and to make white until the time of the end, for it is still for the appointed time.

And the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every elohim, and he will speak marvelous things against the elohim of elohim, and he will succeed until the wrath is completed, for what is decreed will be done.

And he will not regard the elohim of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor any elohim, for he will magnify himself above all.

But he will honor the elohim of fortresses in his place, and to an elohim whom his fathers did not know, he will give honor with gold and with silver and with precious stones and with desirable things.

And he will deal with the fortresses of strongholds, along with a foreign elohim whom he will acknowledge; he will multiply honor, and he will cause them to rule over many, and he will divide the land for a price.

And at the time of the end, the king of the South will push against him, and the king of the North will storm against him with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships, and he will enter the lands and flood and pass through.

And he will come into the land of beauty, and many will stumble, but these will escape from his hand: Edom and Moav, and the chief of the sons of Ammon.

And he will stretch out his hand against the lands, and the land of Mitsrayim will not be an escape.

And he will rule over the treasures of gold and silver, and over all the desirable things of Mitsrayim, and the Lubim and the Kushim will follow his steps.

And reports from the east and from the north will alarm him, and he will go out with great fury to destroy and to annihilate many.

And he will pitch his royal tents between the seas toward the holy mountain of beauty, but he will come to his end, and there will be no one to help him.
