You who are sending away the day of evil, and you bring near the dwelling of violence.

Those lying on beds of ivory and stretched out on their couches, eating lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall.

Those who strum on the strings of a harp, like David, they have devised for themselves instruments of music.

Those drinking from bowls of wine, and they anoint themselves with the first of oils, and they are not grieved over the ruin of Yosef.

Therefore now, they will go into exile at the head of exiles, and the celebration of the complacent will cease.

Adonai יהוה has sworn by His soul, the declaration of יהוה Elohim of Hosts: I loathe the arrogance of Ya'aqov, and I hate his palaces, and I will deliver up the city and its fullness.
