יהוה reigns, the earth rejoices, many islands are glad.

Cloud and thicket surround him, righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

Fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around.

His lightning flashes light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

The mountains melt like wax before יהוה, before Adonai of all the earth.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory.

Let all who worship images be ashamed, those who boast in idols; all gods bow to him.

Tsiyon hears and rejoices, and the daughters of Yehudah are glad because of your judgments, יהוה.

For you, יהוה, are Most High over all the earth; you are greatly exalted above all gods.

You who love יהוה, hate evil; he guards the lives of his faithful ones, he rescues them from the hand of the wicked.

Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.

Rejoice in יהוה, you righteous ones, and give thanks to his holy remembrance.
