יהוה, my light and my deliverance, whom shall I fear? יהוה, the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?

When evildoers draw near against me to devour my flesh, my adversaries and my enemies, they themselves stumbled and fell.

If an army encamps against me, my heart will not fear; if war rises against me, in this I will trust.

One thing I have asked from יהוה, that I will seek: to dwell in the house of יהוה all the days of my life, to behold the pleasantness of יהוה and to inquire in His temple.

For He will hide me in His shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me in the secret place of His tent; He will lift me up on a rock.

And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies surrounding me; and I will sacrifice in His tent, sacrifices of shouting; I will sing and I will make music to יהוה.

Hear, יהוה, my voice, I will call, and be gracious to me, and answer me.

To You my heart said, 'Seek My face'; Your face, יהוה, I will seek.

Do not hide Your face from me; do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not forsake me and do not abandon me, O Elohim of my deliverance.

For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but יהוה will gather me in.

Teach me, יהוה, Your way, and lead me in an upright path because of my watchers.

Do not give me over to the desire of my enemies, for false witnesses have risen against me, and one who breathes violence.

If I had not believed to see the goodness of יהוה in the land of the living!

Wait for יהוה; be strong and let your heart be strengthened; and wait for יהוה.
