And in the first year of Koresh, king of Pars, to fulfill the word of יהוה by the mouth of Yirmeyah, יהוה stirred up the spirit of Koresh, king of Pars, and he made a voice go throughout all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying:

Thus says Koresh, king of Pars, All the kingdoms of the earth יהוה, the Elohim of the heavens, has given to me, and He has commanded me to build Him a house in Yerushalayim, which is in Yehudah.

Who among you from all His people, may his Elohim be with him, and let him go up to Yerushalayim, which is in Yehudah, and build the house of יהוה, the Elohim of Yisra'el. He is the Elohim who is in Yerushalayim.

And everyone remaining from all the places where he dwells, the men of his place shall help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with livestock, besides the freewill offering for the house of the Elohim which is in Yerushalayim.

And the heads of the fathers of Yehudah and Binyamin, and the kohanim, and the Levi'im arose, everyone whom the Elohim stirred his spirit to go up to build the house of יהוה which is in Yerushalayim.

And all who were around them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with livestock, and with precious gifts, besides all that was freely given.

And King Koresh brought out the vessels of the house of יהוה, which Nevukhadnetstsar had brought out from Yerushalayim, and had placed them in the house of his elohim.

And Koresh, king of Pars, brought them out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and counted them out to Sheshbatstsar the prince of Yehudah.

And these are their numbers: thirty gold platters, a thousand silver platters, twenty-nine silver mixing bowls.

Thirty gold cups, four hundred and ten silver cups, and a thousand other vessels.

All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. Sheshbatstsar brought all of them up with the exiles who were brought up from Bavel to Yerushalayim.
