In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on this very day, the hand of יהוה was upon me, and he brought me there.

In visions of Elohim, he brought me to the land of Yisra'el and set me down upon a very high mountain, and on it, like the building of a city, was to the south.

And he brought me there, and behold, a man, his appearance like the appearance of bronze, and a measuring line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed, and he was standing at the gate.

And the man spoke to me, 'Son of man, look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart to all that I am showing you, for you have been brought here for the purpose of showing you. Declare all that you see to the house of Yisra'el.'

And behold, a wall outside the house, all around, and in the hand of the man a measuring reed, six cubits by the cubit and a handbreadth. And he measured the width of the construction, one reed, and the height, one reed.

And he came to the gate whose face was toward the east, and he went up its steps, and he measured the threshold of the gate, one reed wide, and the threshold, one reed wide.

And the chamber was one reed long and one reed wide, and between the chambers, five cubits. And the threshold of the gate, from the side of the gate's vestibule, from the house, was one reed.

And he measured the vestibule of the gate, from the house, one reed.

And he measured the vestibule of the gate, eight cubits, and its side pillars, two cubits. And the vestibule of the gate, from the house.

And the chambers of the gate toward the east, three on this side and three on that side, one measurement for all three, and one measurement for the side pillars on this side and on that side.

And he measured the width of the gate opening, ten cubits. The length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

And a border before the chambers, one cubit, and one cubit border on this side. And the chamber was six cubits on this side and six cubits on that side.

And he measured the gate from the roof of the chamber to its roof, twenty-five cubits wide. Opening opposite opening.

And he made the side pillars sixty cubits, and the gate's side pillar for the courtyard, all around.

And the face of the gate, the inner gate's vestibule, fifty cubits.

And windows, latticed, in the chambers and in their side pillars all around, and likewise for the vestibules, and windows all around inward, and palm trees on the side pillars.

And he brought me into the outer court, and behold, rooms and a pavement made for the court, all around. Thirty rooms on the pavement.

And the pavement was by the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates, the lower pavement.

And he measured the width from before the lower gate, from before the inner court, outward, one hundred cubits, toward the east and toward the north.

And the gate that faced toward the north, for the outer court, he measured its length and its width.

And its chambers, three on this side and three on that side, and its side pillars and its vestibule were like the measurement of the first gate, fifty cubits its length and twenty-five cubits its width.

And its windows and its vestibule and its palm trees were like the measurement of the gate that faced toward the east, and seven steps led up to it, and its vestibules were before them.

And a gate for the inner court, opposite the gate toward the north, and toward the east. And he measured from gate to gate, one hundred cubits.

And he led me toward the south, and behold, a gate toward the south. And he measured its side pillars and its vestibules like these measurements.

And it had windows and its vestibules all around, like these windows, fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

And seven steps led up to it, and its vestibules were before them, and palm trees on its side pillars, one on this side and one on that side.

And a gate for the inner court, toward the south. And he measured from gate to gate toward the south, one hundred cubits.

And he brought me into the inner court by the south gate, and he measured the south gate like these measurements.

And its chambers and its side pillars and its vestibules were like these measurements, and it had windows all around, fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

And its vestibules all around were twenty-five cubits long and five cubits wide.

And its side pillars were toward the outer court, and palm trees on its side pillars, and eight steps were its ascent.

And he brought me into the inner court toward the east, and he measured the gate like these measurements.

And its chambers and its side pillars and its vestibules were like these measurements, and it had windows all around, fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

And its side pillars were toward the outer court, and palm trees on its side pillars, on this side and on that side, and eight steps were its ascent.

And he brought me to the north gate, and he measured like these measurements.

Its chambers, its side pillars, and its windows all around were fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.

And its side pillars were toward the outer court, and palm trees on its side pillars, on this side and on that side, and eight steps were its ascent.

And a chamber and its opening were in the side pillars of the gates; there they would wash the burnt offering.

And in the vestibule of the gate were two tables on this side and two tables on that side, on which to slaughter the burnt offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering.

And on the shoulder outside, by the entrance of the gate toward the north, were two tables, and on the other shoulder, which was by the vestibule of the gate, were two tables.

Four tables on this side and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate, eight tables; to them they shall slaughter.

And four tables for the burnt offering, of hewn stone, one and a half cubits long, and one and a half cubits wide, and one cubit high; to them, and they shall place the utensils with which they slaughter the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

And the hooks, a handbreadth, were prepared in the house all around, and for the tables, the flesh of the offering.

And outside the inner gate, rooms for the officials, in the inner court, which were by the side of the north gate, and their faces were toward the south; one was by the side of the east gate, its face toward the north.

And he said to me, 'This is the chamber whose face is toward the south, for the priests who keep the watch of the house.'

And the chamber whose face is toward the north, for the priests who keep the watch of the altar; these are the sons of Tsadoq, who come near from the sons of Levi to יהוה to serve him.

And he measured the court, one hundred cubits long and one hundred cubits wide, square. And the altar was before the house.

And he brought me into the vestibule of the house, and he measured the vestibule, five cubits on this side and five cubits on that side. And the width of the gate was three cubits on this side and three cubits on that side.

The length of the vestibule was twenty cubits and the width eleven cubits. And by the steps that led up to it, and pillars by the side pillars, one on this side and one on that side.
