And you shall make an altar for burning incense; of acacia wood you shall make it.

A cubit its length and a cubit its width, square it shall be, and two cubits its height; from it its horns.

And you shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its walls all around and its horns; and you shall make for it a gold rim all around.

And two gold rings you shall make for it, beneath its rim; on its two sides you shall make, on its two sides, and it shall be for poles to carry it with them.

And you shall make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.

And you shall put it before the curtain that is on the Ark of the Testimony, before the atonement cover that is on the Testimony, where I will meet you there.

And Aharon shall burn on it fragrant incense, morning by morning; when he tends the lamps, he shall burn it.

And when Aharon lights the lamps between the evenings, he shall burn it; a continual incense before יהוה for your generations.

You shall not offer on it strange incense, nor burnt offering, nor grain offering; and a drink offering you shall not pour on it.

And Aharon shall make atonement on its horns once a year, from the blood of the sin offering of atonement, once a year he shall make atonement on it for your generations; it is most holy to יהוה.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

When you take the census of the sons of Yisra'el, for their counting, then each shall give a ransom for his life to יהוה when you count them, and there shall be no plague among them when you count them.

This they shall give, everyone who passes over to the counted ones: half a shekel, by the shekel of the sanctuary; a shekel is twenty gerahs; half a shekel is a contribution to יהוה.

Everyone who passes over to the counted ones, from twenty years old and above, shall give the contribution to יהוה.

The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, to give the contribution to יהוה, to make atonement for your lives.

And you shall take the silver of the atonements from the sons of Yisra'el and give it for the service of the Tent of Meeting, and it shall be for the sons of Yisra'el for a memorial before יהוה, to make atonement for your lives.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

And you shall make a basin of bronze, and its base of bronze, for washing; and you shall put it between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and you shall put water there.

And Aharon and his sons shall wash from it their hands and their feet.

When they go into the Tent of Meeting, they shall wash with water, and they shall not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, to burn an offering by fire to יהוה.

And they shall wash their hands and their feet, and they shall not die; and it shall be a perpetual statute for him and for his offspring throughout their generations.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

And you, take for yourself choice spices: five hundred shekels of liquid myrrh, and half as much, two hundred shekels, of fragrant cinnamon, and two hundred shekels of fragrant cane,

and five hundred shekels of cassia, by the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil.

And you shall make it a holy anointing oil, a perfumer's mixture, a mixture like the work of a perfumer; it shall be a holy anointing oil.

And you shall anoint with it the Tent of Meeting and the Ark of the Testimony,

and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,

and the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and the basin and its base.

And you shall consecrate them, and they shall be most holy; whatever touches them shall be holy.

And Aharon and his sons you shall anoint, and you shall consecrate them to minister to me.

And to the sons of Yisra'el you shall speak, saying, 'This shall be a holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.

On the flesh of man it shall not be poured, and according to its mixture you shall not make any like it; it is holy, it shall be holy to you.

Whoever mixes any like it, or whoever puts any of it on a stranger, shall be cut off from his people.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Take for yourself sweet spices, stacte and onycha and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense, by proportion shall each be.

And you shall make of it incense, a perfumer's mixture, salted, pure, holy.

And you shall grind some of it very fine, and put some of it before the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, where I will meet you; it shall be most holy to you.

And the incense which you shall make, according to its mixture, you shall not make for yourselves; it shall be holy to you for יהוה.

Whoever makes any like it to smell it, shall be cut off from his people.'
