וַיְהִי בַּשָּׁנָה הַשִּׁשִּׁית בַּשִּׁשִּׁי בַּחֲמִשָּׁה לַחֹדֶשׁ אֲנִי יוֹשֵׁב בְּבֵיתִי וְזִקְנֵי יְהוּדָה יוֹשְׁבִים לְפָנָי וַתִּפֹּל עָלַי שָׁם יַד אֲדֹנָי יֱהֹוִֽה
vayehi bashanah hashishit bashish bachemish lachodesh ani yoshev beveiti veziknei yehudah yoshvim lefanai vatipot alai sham yad adonai יהוה
And it happened in the sixth year, in the sixth [month], on the fifth of the month, I was sitting in my house, and the elders of Yehudah were sitting before me, and the hand of Adonai יהוה fell upon me there.

בִּשְׁנַת שְׁתַּיִם לְדָרְיָוֶשׁ הַמֶּלֶךְ בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשִּׁשִּׁי בְּיוֹם אֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָיָה דְבַר-יהוה בְּיַד-חַגַּי הַנָּבִיא אֶל-זְרֻבָּבֶל בֶּן-שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל פַּחַת יְהוּדָה וְאֶל-יְהוֹשֻׁעַ בֶּן-יְהוֹצָדָק הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל לֵאמֹֽר
bishnat shtayim ledaryavesh hamelekh bachodesh hashishi beyom echad lachodesh hayah devar-יהוה beyad-chaggai hannavi el-zerubbabel ben-shaltiel pachat yehudah ve’el-yehoshua ben-yehotzadak hakkohen haggadol le’mor
In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of יהוה came by the hand of Ḥaggai the prophet to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Yehudah, and to Yehoshua son of Yehotzadak, the high priest, saying:

בְּיוֹם עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה לַחֹדֶשׁ בַּשִּׁשִּׁי בִּשְׁנַת שְׁתַּיִם לְדָרְיָוֶשׁ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ
beyom esrim ve’arba’ah lachodesh bashishim bishnat shtayim ledaryavesh hamelekh
On the twenty-fourth day of the month, in the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.

הַשִּׁשִּׁי לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשִּׁשִּׁי עִירָא בֶן-עִקֵּשׁ הַתְּקוֹעִי וְעַל מַחֲלֻקְתּוֹ עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה אָֽלֶף
ha-shishi la-khodesh ha-shishi ‘ira ben-‘iqesh ha-teko’i ve-‘al mahlekh-to ‘esrim ve-‘arba’ah ‘alef
The sixth for the sixth month, ‘Ira son of ‘Iqqesh the Teqo’i, and over his division, twenty-four thousand.
