בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לְצֵאת בְּנֵי-יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם בַּיּוֹם הַזֶּה בָּאוּ מִדְבַּר סִינָֽי
ba-chodesh ha-shelishi le-tzeit bnei yisrael me-eretz mitzrayim ba-yom ha-zeh ba’u midbar sinai
In the third month from the going out of the sons of Yisra’el from the land of Mitsrayim, on this day, they came to the wilderness of Sinay.

שַׂר הַצָּבָא הַשְּׁלִישִׁי לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִישִׁי בְּנָיָהוּ בֶן-יְהוֹיָדָע הַכֹּהֵן רֹאשׁ וְעַל מַחֲלֻקְתּוֹ עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה אָֽלֶף
sar ha-tsevah ha-shelishi la-chodesh ha-shelishi benayahu ben yehoyada ha-kohen rosh ve-al machalukto esrim ve-arba’ah alef
The third army officer for the third month was Benayahu son of Yehoyada the priest, chief, and over his division, twenty-four thousand.

וַיִּקָּבְצוּ יְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִשִׁי לִשְׁנַת חֲמֵשׁ-עֶשְׂרֵה לְמַלְכוּת אָסָֽא
vayikkavtzu yerushalayim ba-chodesh ha-shelishi lishnat chamesh esreh le-malkhut asa
And they gathered in Yerushalayim in the third month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.

בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁלִשִׁי הֵחֵלּוּ הָעֲרֵמוֹת לְיִסּוֹד וּבַחֹדֶשׁ הַשְּׁבִיעִי כִּלּֽוּ
ba-chodesh ha-shelishi hechellu ha’aremot le-yisod u-va-chodesh ha-shevi’i killu
In the third month they began to lay the foundations of the heaps, and in the seventh month they finished.

וַיְהִי בְּאַחַת עֶשְׂרֵה שָׁנָה בַּשְּׁלִישִׁי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָיָה דְבַר-יְהֹוָה אֵלַי לֵאמֹֽר
