V’ha-pishtah v’ha-se’orah nukku ki ha-se’orah aviv v’ha-pishtah giv’ol
“And the flax and the barley were struck, for the barley was Aviv (ripe) and the flax was in stalk.”
12:2 הַחֹדֶשׁ הַזֶּה לָכֶם רֹאשׁ חֳדָשִׁים רִאשׁוֹן הוּא לָכֶם לְחָדְשֵׁי הַשָּׁנָה
Ha-chodesh ha-zeh lakhem rosh chodashim rishon hu lakhem l’chadshei ha-shanah
“This month shall be to you the beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.”
12:18 בָּרִאשֹׁן בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ בָּעֶרֶב תֹּאכְלוּ מַצֹּת עַד יוֹם הָעֶשְׂרִים וְאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ בָּעָרֶב

“In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at evening, you shall eat unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month at evening.”

“In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month between the evenings, is the Passover to YHWH.”

Va-y’daber YHWH el-Moshe b’midbar-Sinai ba-shanah ha-shenit l’tze’tam me’eretz Mitzrayim ba-chodesh ha-rishon lemor
“And YHWH spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying.”
9:5 וַיַּעֲשׂוּ אֶת־הַפֶּסַח בָּרִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם בְּמִדְבַּר סִינָי כְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה כֵּן עָשׂוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל
Va-ya’asu et-ha-pesach ba-rishon b’arba’ah asar yom la-chodesh bein ha-arbayim b’midbar Sinai k’chol asher tzivah YHWH et-Moshe ken asu b’nei Yisrael
“And they kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that YHWH commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.”
20:1 וַיָּבֹאוּ בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל כָּל־הָעֵדָה מִדְבַּר־צִן בַּחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן וַיֵּשֶׁב הָעָם בְּקָדֵשׁ וַתָּמָת שָׁם מִרְיָם וַתִּקָּבֵר שָׁם
Va-yavo’u b’nei-Yisrael kol-ha-edah midbar-Tzin ba-chodesh ha-rishon va-yeshev ha-am b’Kadesh va-tamat sham Miriam va-tikaver sham
“And the children of Israel, the whole congregation, came into the wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people dwelt in Kadesh; and Miriam died there and was buried there.”
28:16 וּבַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ פֶּסַח לַיהוָה
U’va-chodesh ha-rishon b’arba’ah asar yom la-chodesh pesach l’YHWH
“And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is the Passover to YHWH.”

“And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the month; on the day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.”

“Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel, and over his division were twenty-four thousand. From the sons of Perez, he was the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.”

“He, in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of YHWH and repaired them.”

Va-yivva’atz ha-melech v’sarav v’chol-ha-kahal bi-Yrushalayim la’asot ha-pesach ba-chodesh ha-sheni. Ki lo yachlu la’asoto ba’et ha-hi ki ha-kohanim lo-hitkad’shu l’maddai v’ha-am lo-ne’esfu li-Yrushalayim
“And the king, his princes, and all the assembly in Jerusalem consulted to keep the Passover in the second month, for they could not keep it at that time because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, nor had the people gathered to Jerusalem.”
35:1 וַיַּעַשׂ יֹאשִׁיָּהוּ בִירוּשָׁלִַם פֶּסַח לַיהוָה וַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת־הַפֶּסַח בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן
Va-ya’as Yoshiyahu bi-Yrushalayim pesach l’YHWH va-yish’chatu et-ha-pesach b’arba’ah asar la-chodesh ha-rishon
“And Josiah kept a Passover to YHWH in Jerusalem, and they slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth of the first month.”

6:19 וַיַּעֲשׂוּ בְנֵי־הַגּוֹלָה אֶת־הַפֶּסַח בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן
Va-ya’asu b’nei-ha-golah et-ha-pesach b’arba’ah asar la-chodesh ha-rishon
“And the children of the exile kept the Passover on the fourteenth of the first month.”
7:9 כִּי בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן הוּא־יְסֻד הַמַּעֲלָה מִבָּבֶל וּבְאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הַחֲמִישִׁי בָּא אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִַם כְּיַד־אֱלֹהָיו הַטּוֹבָה עָלָיו
Ki b’echad la-chodesh ha-rishon hu-y’sud ha-ma’alah mi-Bavel uv’echad la-chodesh ha-chamishi ba el-Yrushalayim k’yad-Elohav ha-tovah alav
“For on the first of the first month he began the journey up from Babylon, and on the first of the fifth month he came to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.”
8:31 וַנִּסְעָה מִנְּהַר אֲהָוָא בִּשְׁנֵים עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן לָלֶכֶת יְרוּשָׁלִַם וְיַד אֱלֹהֵינוּ הָיְתָה עָלֵינוּ וַיַּצִּילֵנוּ מִכַּף אוֹיֵב וְאוֹרֵב עַל־הַדָּרֶךְ
Va-nis’ah min’har Ahava bish’neim asar la-chodesh ha-rishon lalechet Yrushalayim v’yad Eloheinu haytah aleinu va-yatzilenu mi-kaf oyev v’orev al-ha-darech
“And we departed from the river Ahava on the twelfth of the first month to go to Jerusalem, and the hand of our God was upon us, and He delivered us from the hand of the enemy and from ambush along the way.”
10:17 וַיְכַלּוּ בַכֹּל אֲנָשִׁים הַהֹשִׁיבוּ נָשִׁים נָכְרִיּוֹת עַד־יוֹם אֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הָרִאשׁוֹן
Va-y’chalu ba-kol anashim hahoshivu nashim nachriyot ad-yom echad la-chodesh ha-rishon
“And they finished with all the men who had married foreign women by the first day of the first month.”

“In the first month, which is the month of Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur, that is, the lot, before Haman from day to day and from month to month, until the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.”

Va-yikra’u sofre ha-melech ba-chodesh ha-rishon bish’loshah asar yom bo va-yikatev k’chol-asher-tzivah Haman el-achashdarp’nei-ha-melech v’el-ha-pachot asher al-m’dinah u-m’dinah v’el-sarei am va-am m’dinah u-m’dinah kichtavah v’am va-am kilshono b’shem ha-melech Achashverosh nichtav v’nechtam b’taba’at ha-melech
“And the king’s scribes were called in the first month, on the thirteenth day of it, and it was written according to all that Haman commanded to the king’s satraps, and to the governors who were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according to its script, and to every people according to their language; in the name of King Ahasuerus it was written and sealed with the king’s signet ring.”

U’v’yom esrim v’arba’ah la-chodesh ha-rishon va-ani hayiti al yad ha-nahar ha-gadol hu Chidakel
“And on the twenty-fourth day of the first month, I was by the side of the great river, which is the Tigris.”
