הַשִּׁשִּׁי֙ לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשִּׁשִּׁי֔ עִירָ֥א בֶן־עִקֵּ֖שׁ הַתְּקוֹעִ֑י וְעַל֙ מַחֲלֻקְתּ֔וֹ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְאַרְבָּעָ֖ה אָֽלֶף׃
haš·šiš·šî la·ḥō·ḏeš haš·šiš·šî, ‘î·rā ḇen- ‘iq·qêš hat·tə·qō·‘î; wə·‘al ma·ḥă·luq·tōw, ‘eś·rîm wə·’ar·bā·‘āh ’ā·lep̄.
The sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.

וַיְהִ֣י ׀ בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשִּׁשִּׁ֗ית בַּשִּׁשִּׁי֙ בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֣ה לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ אֲנִ֥י יוֹשֵׁ֖ב בְּבֵיתִ֑י וְזִקְנֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה יוֹשְׁבִ֥ים לְפָנָֽי וַתִּפֹּ֤ל עָלַי֙ שָׁ֔ם יַד־אֲדֹנָ֖י יְהוִֽה׃
way·hî baš·šā·nāh haš·šiš·šîṯ baš·šiš·šî ba·ḥă·miš·šāh la·ḥō·ḏeš, ’ă·nî yō·w·šêḇ bə·ḇê·ṯî, wə·ziq·nê yə·hū·ḏāh yō·wš·ḇîm lə·p̄ā·nāy, wat·tip·pōl ‘ā·lay šām yaḏ- ’ă·ḏō·nāy Yah·weh.
And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, with the elders of Judah sitting before me, that the hand of the Lord יהוה fell upon me there.

בִּשְׁנַ֤ת שְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ לְדָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ בַּחֹ֙דֶשׁ הַשִּׁשִּׁי֔ בְּי֥וֹם אֶחָ֖ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֨ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֜ה בְּיַד־חַגַּ֣י הַנָּבִ֗יא אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֤ל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל֙ פַּחַ֣ת יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֶל־יְהוֹשֻׁ֥עַ בֶּן־יְהוֹצָדָ֖ק הַכֹּהֵ֥ן הַגָּד֖וֹל לֵאמֹֽר׃
biš·naṯ šə·ta·yim lə·ḏā·ryā·weš ham·me·leḵ, ba·ḥō·ḏeš haš·šiš·šî bə·yō·wm ’e·ḥāḏ la·ḥō·ḏeš, hā·yāh ḏə·ḇar- Yah·weh bə·yaḏ- ḥag·gay han·nā·ḇî ’el- zə·rub·bā·ḇel ben- šə·’al·tî·’êl pa·ḥaṯ yə·hū·ḏāh, wə·’el- yə·hō·w·šu·a‘ ben- yə·hō·w·ṣā·ḏāq hak·kō·hên hag·gā·ḏō·wl lê·mōr.
In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, on the first day of the month, the word of יהוה came by the hand of Haggai the prophet to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, saying.

בְּיוֹם֩ עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְאַרְבָּעָ֥ה לַחֹ֛דֶשׁ בַּשִּׁשִּׁי֖ בִּשְׁנַ֥ת שְׁתַּ֖יִם לְדָרְיָ֥וֶשׁ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
bə·yō·wm ‘eś·rîm wə·’ar·bā·‘āh la·ḥō·ḏeš baš·šiš·šî biš·naṯ šə·ta·yim lə·ḏā·ryā·weš ham·me·leḵ.
On the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius the king.
