7:11 בִּשְׁנַת שֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה לְחַיֵּי־נֹחַ בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּשִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ בַּיּוֹם הַזֶּה נִבְקְעוּ כָּל־מַעְיְנוֹת תְּהוֹם רַבָּה וַאֲרֻבֹּת הַשָּׁמַיִם נִפְתָּחוּ
Bishnat shesh-me’ot shanah l’chayei-Noach ba-chodesh ha-sheni b’shiv’ah-asar yom la-chodesh ba-yom ha-zeh nivke’u kol-ma’yenot tehom rabbah va’arubot ha-shamayim niftachu
“In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened.”

8:14 וּבַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּשִׁבְעָה וְעֶשְׂרִים יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ יָבְשָׁה הָאָרֶץ
U’va-chodesh ha-sheni b’shiv’ah v’esrim yom la-chodesh yavshah ha-aretz
“And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.”

Shemot (Exodus)

16:1 וַיִּסְעוּ מֵאֵילִם וַיָּבֹאוּ כָּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־מִדְבַּר־סִין אֲשֶׁר בֵּין־אֵילִם וּבֵין סִינַי בַּחֲמִשָּׁה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי לְצֵאתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם
Vayis’u me-Eilim vayavo’u kol-adat b’nei-Yisrael el-midbar-Sin asher bein-Eilim u’vein Sinai ba-chamishah asar yom la-chodesh ha-sheni l’tze’tam me-eretz Mitzrayim
“And they set out from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt.”

1:1 וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בְּמִדְבַּר סִינַי בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית לְצֵאתָם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם לֵאמֹר
Vaydaber Adonai el-Moshe b’midbar Sinai b’ohel mo’ed b’echad la-chodesh ha-sheni ba-shanah ha-shenit l’tze’tam me-eretz Mitzrayim lemor
“And יהוה spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,”

1:18 וְאֵת כָּל־הָעֵדָה הִקְהִילוּ בְּאֶחָד לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי וַיִּתְיַלְדוּ עַל־מִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם בְּמִסְפַּר שֵׁמוֹת מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְגֻלְגְּלֹתָם
V’et kol-ha-edah hik’hilu b’echad la-chodesh ha-sheni vayit’yaldu al-mishp’chotam l’veit avotam b’mispar shemot miben esrim shanah va-ma’alah l’gul’g’lotam
“And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees according to their families, by their fathers’ houses, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.”

9:11 בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר יוֹם בֵּין הָעַרְבַּיִם יַעֲשׂוּ אֹתוֹ עַל־מַצּוֹת וּמְרֹרִים יֹאכְלֻהוּ
Ba-chodesh ha-sheni b’arba’ah asar yom bein ha-arbayim ya’asu oto al-matzot u’m’rorim yoch’luhu
“In the second month, on the fourteenth day, at twilight, they shall keep it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.”

10:11 וַיְהִי בַּשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בְּעֶשְׂרִים בַּחֹדֶשׁ נַעֲלָה הֶעָנָן מֵעַל מִשְׁכַּן הָעֵדֻת
Vay’hi ba-shanah ha-shenit ba-chodesh ha-sheni b’esrim ba-chodesh na’alah he-anan me’al mishkan ha-edut
“And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, that the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the testimony.”

6:1 וַיְהִי בִשְׁמוֹנִים שָׁנָה וְאַרְבַּע מֵאוֹת שָׁנָה לְצֵאת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ־מִצְרַיִם בַּשָּׁנָה הָרְבִיעִית בְּחֹדֶשׁ זִו הוּא הַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי לִמְלֹךְ שְׁלֹמֹה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיִּבֶן הַבַּיִת לַיהוָה
Vay’hi bishmonim shanah v’arba me’ot shanah l’tze’t b’nei-Yisrael me-eretz-Mitzrayim ba-shanah ha-revi’it b’chodesh Ziv hu ha-chodesh ha-sheni limloch Shlomo al-Yisrael vayiven ha-bayit l’Adonai
“And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel came out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of יהוה.”

6:37 בַּשָּׁנָה הָרְבִיעִית יֻסַּד בֵּית יְהוָה בְּיֶרַח זִו
Ba-shanah ha-revi’it yussad beit Adonai b’yerach Ziv
“In the fourth year, the foundation of the house of יהוה was laid, in the month of Ziv.”

27:4 וְעַל מַחֲלֹקֶת הַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי דּוֹדַי הָאֲחוֹחִי וּמַחֲלֻקְתּוֹ וּמִקְלוֹת הַנָּשִׂיא וְעַל־מַחֲלֻקְתּוֹ עֶשְׂרִים וְאַרְבָּעָה אָלֶף
V’al machaloket ha-chodesh ha-sheni Dodai ha-Achochi u’machalukto u’Miklot ha-nasi v’al-machalukto esrim v’arba’ah elef
“And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite, and of his division; and Mikloth was the leader; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.”

3:2 וַיָּחֶל לִבְנוֹת בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי בַּשֵּׁנִי בִּשְׁנַת אַרְבַּע לְמַלְכוּתוֹ
Vayachel livnot ba-chodesh ha-sheni ba-sheni bishnat arba l’malchuto
“And he began to build on the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.”

30:2 וַיִּוָּעַץ הַמֶּלֶךְ וְשָׂרָיו וְכָל־הַקָּהָל בִּירוּשָׁלִַם לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת־הַפֶּסַח בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי
Vayivva’atz ha-melech v’sarav v’chol-ha-kahal biYrushalayim la’asot et-ha-Pesach ba-chodesh ha-sheni
“And the king took counsel with his princes and all the congregation in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.”

30:13 וַיֵּאָסְפוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַם עַם־רָב לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת־חַג הַמַּצּוֹת בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי קָהָל לָרֹב מְאֹד
Vayei’asfu Yerushalayim am-rav la’asot et-chag ha-matzot ba-chodesh ha-sheni kahal larov me’od
“And a very great congregation of people gathered at Jerusalem to keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month.”

30:15 וַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ אֶת־הַפֶּסַח בְּאַרְבָּעָה עָשָׂר לַחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי וְהַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם נִכְלְמוּ וַיִּתְקַדְּשׁוּ וַיָּבִיאוּ עֹלוֹת בֵּית יְהוָה
Vayish’chatu et-ha-Pesach b’arba’ah asar la-chodesh ha-sheni v’ha-kohanim v’ha-L’viyim nichl’mu vayitkad’shu vayavi’u olot beit Adonai
“And they slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month; and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the house of יהוה.”

Ezra

3:8 וּבַשָּׁנָה הַשֵּׁנִית לְבוֹאָם אֶל־בֵּית הָאֱלֹהִים לִירוּשָׁלִַם בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִי הֵחֵלּוּ זְרֻבָּבֶל בֶּן־שְׁאַלְתִּיאֵל וְיֵשׁוּעַ בֶּן־יוֹצָדָק וּשְׁאָר אֲחֵיהֶם הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַלְוִיִּם וְכָל־הַבָּאִים מֵהַשְּׁבִי יְרוּשָׁלִַם וַיַּעֲמִידוּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם מִבֶּן עֶשְׂרִים שָׁנָה וָמַעְלָה לְנַצֵּחַ עַל־מְלֶאכֶת בֵּית־יְהוָה
U’va-shanah ha-shenit l’vo’am el-beit ha-Elohim liYrushalayim ba-chodesh ha-sheni hechellu Zerubavel ben-Sh’altiel v’Yeshua ben-Yotzadak u’sh’ar acheihem ha-kohanim v’ha-L’viyim v’chol-ha-ba’im me-ha-sh’vi Yerushalayim vaya’amidu et-ha-L’viyim miben esrim shanah va-ma’alah l’natzach al-m’lechet beit-Adonai
“And in the second year of their coming to the house of Elohim at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the rest of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all those who had come out of the captivity to Jerusalem, began the work and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to oversee the work of the house of יהוה.”
