The tenth new moon was reported in multiple locations on 15 December (2020Dec_New_Moon_Report). However, Israel had no positive reports on 15 December but would have been easily visible on 16 December if weather permitted. I am sorry if you submitted a report and it didn’t work as there was a problem with the reporting form.

No sighting, was expected to be marginal if possible at all but there was rain and heavy cloud cover. YM

At the time of this writing, I am not aware of anyone sighting the new moon with their naked eye from Israel this evening, 15 December 2020. I will, of course, send an update should any positive observations come in later.
If no positive reports come in from this evening’s observation, the new month will begin at sunset tomorrow, 16 December 2020 by default, as it will be the end of 30 days.
