Shalom Brethren,

Brother Ted Skaggs passed away this past Sabbath
and now rests waiting for Messiah's return. Brother Ted was a real joy to
know always having a smile and a peaceful spirit. He loved Messiah Yahshua
and Abba Yahweh. Teddy studied Scripture continually sharing it with
everyone he met. The picture above is from our trip to the top of a
mountain in front of Ted and Brenda's home. It was just before Passover in
2004 and Teddy left John and I in the dust as he almost ran up the mountain.
He had such energy. I love brother Ted and I will miss him as he rests in
Messiah. Please keep sister Brenda in your prayers. You can send
Sister Brenda condolences at 728 Groundhog Rd., Canton, NC 28716.

Dear Jim,
We met for dinner tonight, and a crowd of 30 or so looked for the crescent,
beginning about 8:40 p.m. to 9:20. A cloud bank obscured the sun's setting, as
well as the moon's.
None of us saw the new crescent without visual aid.
Jim, I had binoculars, thought I saw the crescent, and watched it for a few
seconds through a thin, moving film of clouds, but then the clouds thickened. No
one else saw it.

Dear Jim,
New crescent easily visible tonight. It's still up and getting prettier every
minute. About 7 of us are enjoying watching it this beautiful Sabbath evening.

P.S. It doesn't matter to anyone but me -- but
the orientation of this crescent matches what I saw with binoculars last night.
